Andrew Edgar Mitchell (1877-1964) was born in Elora, Ontario, Canada, and immigrated to Detroit in 1898 and to Denver in 1900. He was healed of TB in Denver after praying. He was an artist, musician, and Bible teacher. He married Sarah (Sadie) (Bryant) Jones in 1902; their children were Bryant, Hubert, Helen (Morken), and Jean (Wilhelmsen). After Sadie died he married Jennie Clay; their children were Marietta (Smith) and Esther (Russell). He died in Los Angeles at age 87.
