Ellen Callan died at age 82 years old on June 9, 1952 in Portland, Maine United States.

She married Louis Phillip Joseph Isaac Gignac in 1941, and they were married until Anna's death in October 1971. Anna Gignac was buried at Calvary Cemetery 1461 Broadway, in South Portland.
