I loved her very much. She was warm and kind and generous and sweet. I took her to the Big Apple Circus. To the Metropolitan Room to see and meet Yvonne Constant. To eat at the best French Restaurants in New York. To go to the Opera on New Year's Eve. To go to Opera Concerts. To go to Classical Music Concerts. To go to Town Hall and see a great show with Broadway Stars. To enjoy Jazz at the Jazz Clubs. We had a lot of great times together. I made sure she had fun and would take her home in a limousine too. She made every event special. Arlette loved music and she loved to laugh. She always made me feel loved and appreciated. Arlette Louise Le Lay (Nee Lequipe) entered into eternal rest on January 24, 2022, at her home in Jackson Heights, New York with her family at her side, she was 93 years old. Mamou was born in Tours, France to Pierre and Denice on November 13, 1928. Beloved wife of the late Mr. Raymond Jean-Marie Le Lay. Loving Father of Erick and (Mary), Annick and (Robert). Loving sister of Hughette Toulon, Pierre Lequipe (Regine), Jeanou Lequipe. Loving Aunt of nieces and nephews in the United States, Canada, and France. Cherished Mamou of Michelle (Mark), Colleen (Jeremey), Christian (Lisa), Daniel (Kaitlyn), Kerri (James), Tiffanny (Mike), Timothy (Jessyca), Matthew, and Miles. And 10 Great Grandchildren. May she rest in peace.

For fifty years I have been a Document Examiner and that is how I earn my living. For over 50 years I have also been a publicist for actors, singers, writers, composers, artists, comedians, and many progressive non-profit organizations. I am a Librettist-Composer of a Broadway musical called, "Nellie Bly" and I am in the process of making small changes to it. In addition, I have written over 100 songs that would be considered "popular music" in the genre of THE AMERICAN SONGBOOK.
My family consists of four branches. The Norwegians and The Italians and the Norwegian-Americans and the Italian Americans.
