At her Grandson's Wedding
When my grandmother and grandfather got married most of the family attended, his mother and father, her mother, her brothers and sisters, his brother and sisters, his aunts and uncles, etc. Everybody had their picture taken. Thus I have them.
Tabitha Green Lasley Scrogum was born 1841 in Simpson, Johnson Co., IL but moved to Missouri as a youngster. There she met and married Lewis Wilson Scrogum. He loved her greatly. At her funeral, that tough old man cried "life a baby" all during the services, as says two old men who attended the funeral when they were children. He lived seven more years alone.
