Ballard Columbus Linch, MD, Tennessee

A photo of Ballard Columbus Linch, MD. 1892 -- 1918 from Claiborne County, Tennessee. Lt. Ballard C. Linch (sometimes: Lynch) was a physician assigned to the Medical Corp. He married Bonnie Burger. After military training, he left in August for the Western Front. He was killed in action September 29, 1918 when the Aid Station where he worked was shelled by the Germans.
