Barker Brothers ranch Sheridan, CA
Uncle Thomas & his sister Rebecca came to California in 1853. Uncle Emmet filed for rights to the 160 acre homestead in Feb of 1864. They must have had a large house since they had boarders on the 1880 Census. Uncle Emmet died before 1900 when only Thomas and Beckie were living there. Her son Ross Rodgers moved to Oregon. This photo was taken when the barn was 75 years old.
