Ben Sheeks Murray, son of Elijah Murray and Lucetta (Sheeks)Murray, was born September 25, 1870 in Noble Township, Richland County, Illinois, died June 28, 1933 in East St. Louis, Illinois and buried in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney, Illinois. He married 2nd to Grace Ellen VanCleve. Ben owned and ran the Ben S. Murray Hardware Store, having inherited it from his father.
