Benny Alamea Obituary
The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Whitehurst/McNamara Chapel for Benny A. Alamea, 33, who died Friday at his home.

A lifelong Hanford resident, he was a tire builder for Armstrong Rubber Co. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors include his mother, Eloise Alamea of Hanford; two daughters, Angela Alamea and Melissa Alamea of Hanford; three brothers, Ray Aiamea Jr., Vincent Alamea and Raul Alamea of Hanford; a sister, Barbara Alamea of Hanford; and a grandmother, Rosario Galbez of Hanford.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Burial at Calvary Cemetery will follow.

Benny Anthony Alamea was the son of Raymond Garcia Alamea Sr and Eloisa A Saldivar. He had siblings including Vincent Alamea (1952-2011), Raul Frank Alamea (1955-2001), and Barbara Ann Alamea (1956-2018). Benny was born, raised, and lived most of his life in Hanford, Kings County, California. He attended Hanford High School (Hanford, CA). See Benny Alamea- Hanford High School. He married Esther Rivera on October 17, 1975 in Kings, California. At the time he was 22 and she was 19. The couple went on to have two daughters together, Angela Alamea and Melissa Alamea. Benny and Esther later divorced on August 12, 1981. He was a field worker in Hanford, Kings, California, USA and passed away at the young age of 33 on May 30, 1986 in Hanford, CA.
