William “Billy” Temple
William Temple lived with mom Lydia Bryant and stepfather Thomas C Bryant in jones county Ms until his marriage to Annis Reeves. They had 11 children including my 2nd great grandfather Robert Chester Temple. He joined the Jasper guards a branch of the confederate army in 1862. Was captured at the battle of Iuka Ms and sent to camp Douglas Illinois and starved until unfit for duty. He returned to finish the war until 1864. At some point he divorced Annis and married Zilpha Mobley in 1892. In 1916 he and his family moved to Winnsboro louisiana where he lived until 1918. He passed and is buried in old Winnsboro cemetery. His family continues to live there. I was born and raised there
