OBITUARY:
Funeral services for Blanche Conley King, 76, have been set for 2 p.m. Monday in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. She died Friday night in the Pawhuska Nursing Home where she had lived for the past two years. Mrs. King was born February 19, 1895 in the Indian Territory, the daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth Anderson Conley. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was married in Tulsa in 1936 to Ben King of Canyon, Tex., who preceded her in death at Canyon in 1950. Before her marriage, Mrs. King was a teller at the First National Bank and was cashier for the Manhattan Cafe. After Mr. King's death she moved to Amarillo, Tex., where she lived until 1969 when she came to the Pawhuska Nursing Home. Survivors are a step-daughter, Mrs. Lois Harris of San Antonio, Tex., and a number of nieces and nephews. Burial will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery with Johnson Funeral directors in charge.
