Bob Hope with Nan and Bob Carr

Had the privilege and honor to have met,
Bob Hope in November of 1980 at Commonwealth Stadium on the Kentucky Wildcats Football Field at half-time as Mary Katheryn Shaver’s escort as she was passing on her Homecoming Crown to the next Queen. Mr Hope was bigger than life and in true form as a comedian and Ambassador to the World through the art of Comedy. He personally introduced himself shook our hands and listened to our names as he told each of us hi I’m Bob Hope. It was a moment that I have never forgotten. Thank you Kathy for that moment in my life.
