Bob Thiesfeld Nebraska City High School Senior

Robert Lee Thiesfeld was born on July 28, 1932 in Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska. He is the son of Albert William Thiesfeld (1901-1960) and Zelma Kathryn Mitzner (1903-1971). He grew up in Lorton, Otoe County, Nebraska and had sisters Gloria Marie (1926-2005) and Mary Ann Thiesfeld (1926-2005). He graduated from Bob Nebraska City High School (Nebraska City, Nebraska, USA) in 1952. He was a letterman for all four years in Football and Basketball, and track. He was also part of the Letterman's Club Officers and Drama Club in 1951 and was a member of the skilled hunters club in 1952. On October 4, 1952 he married Carol Joan Tourville (1934-1985) in Junction City, Geary County, Kansas. He had biological children Bottie, Gordon, Kathy, Janet, Dave, and Mary Thiesfeld. Robert served in the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. He also married Dorothy "Dottie" Larson in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sept. 10, 1991 and became step father to children Susan and Sally.
