The Brown Family of Deer Creek photo was probably taken in 1944. Pictured are (L to R) my grandfather Robert R. Brown, James Lynn Wells (me), Julia Doris Brown Wells, my uncle Jack Brown, my aunt Margaret Brown Cranfill, my cousin Sandra Kay Cranfill Wicker, and my grandmother Virgie Hines Brown. Missing from the photo were my father R.C. Wells and uncle Carlton Cranfill, both overseas on military duty at the time.
