Campbell McAllister was an archeologist/lecturer for our day trip to Stone Henge. In addition to being knowledgeable about geology, he had also been an Egyptologist and loved studying history. He was magnificent to meet!

New Zealand: Millwood Press, 1976. Memoirs of the Authors boyhood plus collected pioneer memories and photographic records from the area and his father's photographic studio. Covers all the main settlements especially Stratford, also Inglewood, Eltham, Ngaere, Whangamomona. Section on early mountaineering in the area. He writes extensively on the business and social life of the European communities. Scarce book useful for genealogical research with many names included in the text, there are also a couple of very good photo images of the Parihaka Pa.

For over 50 years I have also been a publicist for actors, singers, writers, composers, artists, comedians, and many progressive non-profit organizations. I am a Librettist-Composer of a Broadway musical called, "Nellie Bly" and I am in the process of making small changes to it.
