Captain John Francis D'Sylva
John Francis D'Sylva (or De Silva) born 1845 Azores, died March 28th 1919 Auckland, New Zealand.
John was a master mariner, who eventually lived in New Zealand, married Mary Ann Cupitt and had 5 children. John changed his name to John Francis (adopting his middle name as his surname). We do not have any details of his parents and only know that he was Portugese (probably from the Azores).
