Carl Fredrick LUNDQUIST
I have in my possession an old photograph that is identified as "Dave LUNDQUIST'S Dad". The photograph was taken in the 1880's or 1890's at the Saley & Harrison Studio in Essex, IA. I would guess that the man in the photograph is likely in his 30's at the time the photograph was taken. I believe that this is Carl Fredrick LUNDQUIST who was the father of David LUNDQUIST and based on limited research I have been able to gather the following information regarding this family:

Carl Fredrick LUNDQUIST was b. 10 Jun 1859 and married Emma S. LUNDQUIST (b. 1869) and they had a son, David LUNDQUIST (1890-1953). Carl died 22 Dec 1911 and is buried in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Nyman, IA. His son David was b. 31 Mar 1890 in Omaha, NE, and married Agnes Elvira Birgitta HAMMARGREN (1903-1974) on 30 Aug 1928 in Essex, IA and they had two children, a son David Fredrick LUNDQUIST (1932-1998) and a daughter as well. David died 8 Feb 1953 and is also buried in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Nyman, IA.

I am hoping to locate someone from this LUNDQUIST Family so that the photograph can be returned to their care. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.

Thanks,
Shelley
Date & Place: at Saley & Harrison Studio in Essex, Page County, Iowa 51638, United States
