Charles was the oldest son of Jefferson Nisbet. He grew up on a prosperous farm and with loving parents. He had always lived on the farm with the exception of 5 yrs which he spent in Kansas. He was very attached to his home, parents and relatives. And his death at his age came to a great shock to the community.
