McLellan. She married Ronald Charles Murphy Sr on April 21, 1925 and they later divorced. They had children Ronald C Murphy Jr and Carolyn Anne (Murphy) Lewis. She would also marry Charles J. Connell on March 29, 1934, and they were married until Alma's death on October 20, 1940.

Connell of Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey was born on September 26, 1901 in Portland, Cumberland County, Maine United States to Jennie Jane Louise (Callan) Connell and Patrick Henry Connell. Charles Connell had siblings William Henry Connell and George Callan Connell. He married Alma Erskine (McLellan) Connell on March 29, 1934, and they were married until Alma's death on October 20, 1940. He also married Edith Theresa "Tessie" Mulligan, and they were married until death separated them in 1934. They had a child Mary Elaine (Connell) Coughlan. Charles Connell died at age 77 years old on August 18, 1979 in Jersey City, Hudson County, NJ, and was buried on August 22, 1979 at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.
