My grandmother Christine was married twice. Her father's name was Charles Carlson. Her first husband's name was Charles Edward Snickers. He died. She married again. Her second husband's name was Oscar Carlson who was my stepgrandfather. I never met my grandfather Snickers who died years before I was born. According to my father Paul Snickers, Charles Snickers died about 1929 when my father was 16 and Charles Snickers was 62. My father then quit school to help his mother make money.
