He married Claudia Potzger, and had children Walter Bruno Potzger, Martin Paul Potzger, and Doris Potzger. Herman Potzger died at age 83 years old on February 8, 1968 in Bay City, Bay County, and was buried on February 10, 1968 at Elm Lawn Cemetery 300 Ridge Rd, in Bay City.
Claudia Wilhelmina Bertha (Budach) Potzger of Bay City, Bay County, Michigan was born on June 7, 1889 to Rev. Paul Budach and Helen Budach. She married Rev. Herman F. Potzger, and had children Walter Bruno Potzger, Martin Paul Potzger, and Doris Potzger. Claudia Potzger died at age 89 years old in August 1978.
