She had siblings Oliver Wilson, George Wilson, Ernest Wilson, Elizabeth Howard, Esther Cranford, Nellie Hammock, Loretta Newell, and Ruth Wilson-Brown. She married James M Melton, and had children Kyle B Melton, Talmadge Melton, Deirdre Melton, and Keith E. Melton. Cleopatra Melton died at age 75 years old on September 22, 2011 at Saint Michael's Medical Center in Newark, NJ, and was buried on September 27, 2011 at Bg William C Doyle Vet's Mem CemSection KN Site 2437 350 Provinceline Road, in Wrightstown.
