Colonel Charles (Craigie) Halkett (1715-1774)
Colonel in the Dutch service and later Governor of Namur, Belguim.

Married Anne Craigie who, upon the death of her father, succeeded to the estates of Hall Hall (Lahill) and was obliged to assume and carry the Arms of Craigie in addtion to those of Halkett. Thus one sees "Craigie-Halkett" as the surname of future generations of that branch.
