Craig Stanley
July 23, 1959-Dec. 2, 1979
Craig D. Stanley, 20, a native and lifelong resident of Roseville, lost his life in a traffic accident on Dec. 2 in Citrus Heights.
He was the son of Leon He Stanley and the late Dorothy Stanley, who died in 1970. He is survived by his father; a sister, Terri Stanley; friends Sally Thompson and Marcy Quinn; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gadberry; uncles, Alden Stanley, James Colvin, Bud, Darrell, Fred, and Corky Gadberry; and aunts Joan Stanley, Frieda Friberg, Marjori Badeker, Da Mrs. Davis Osgood, and Norma Berry.
He attended Roseville schools and graduated from the high school there. He was a student at Sierra College and worked as a waiter for Smugglers restaurant. He is active in water skiing, tennis, and golf and won honors with the Roseville High School Golf Club.
Service will be Thursday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. at the Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd., with the Rev. Roy Herndon of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Roseville Cemetery.
