Hi Carla! I am a little confused since I don't recognize the name Daniel Paul Michael nor do I have any Beals. Of course, that doesn't mean we are not related... just could mean we don't yet know how we are related. But to answer your question, I tie into the Michaels through my great-grandmother, Bertha Leah Michael (1885-1974). She was born, lived, and died in Kansas... probably never straying more than 50 or 60 miles from her place of birth (Osage, Kansas). She is the daughter of John Wesley Michael (1848-1929) who was born in Richland Co., Illinois and Catherine Showalter (1857-1926) who was born in Noble Twp., Wabash Co., Indiana. His parents were John William Michael (1820-1908) and Sarah Mary Knepper (1819-1890). Do any of those names look familiar to you?
