David Rasche- Muncie Central High School

David Rasche was born in Muncie, IN on June 27, 1945 to parents William Frederick Rasche Sr. (1898-1967) and Betty Nelson (1923-1989). He had two brothers, Erich V. Rasche (1947-2004) and Daniel Rasche (1949-2012), as well as a half-brother, William Thomas Rasche Jr. (1923-1987). David's service to his country began when he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on June 3, 1966, during the Vietnam War. He was assigned to the Third Amphibian Tractor Battalion, First Marine Division, where he served for nearly three years. On April 18, 1969, David F Rasche was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps and returned home to Muncie, Delaware, Indiana, USA. Upon his return, he married Beverly Stephens on August 24, 1970, in his hometown. David's service and sacrifice for his country will always be remembered.
