Dean Arnold Corll

Known as the "Candy Man", Coryll was a serial Killer of teenage boys. He hired 2 teenagers, David Owen Brooks and Elmer Wayne Henley, to lure their acquaintances to his house, where Dean would molest them, then kill them. Police thought they were all runaways, until Henley fatally shot Corll as he was threatening him and his girlfriend. When the police came, Henley confessed to all that had happened to the missing boys and showed the cops where the bodies were buried. Coryll's number of victims was at least 28, including 2 sets of brothers, which was the largest total at the time. John Wayne Gacy eventually surpassed him with at least 33.
