Dorothea Gindele as a young nurse after graduating from Columbia School of nursing in NYC. She married Sydney Doust and shortly after divorced. This photo was probably taken about 1934 and is inscribed to Don in the lower right hand corner. In 1943 she and Donald Marshall were married in Yuma Az. They had gone to high school together in New Rochelle NY. They had a son, Donald Jr. born in 1946. They divorced in the early 50s. Dorothea them married Matthew Whitehurst. Matt dies in 1979.
