Dr. Daniel Lyman

Doctor Daniel Lyman was a country doctor in Woodstock, CT in the early 1800's to the mid century. Educated at Dartmouth, he was a local judge as well. Family lore says that he cut his own finger off when it became gangrenous in order to prevent the spread!
