Dr. Livingston Morris
I have an old studio photograph of Dr. Livingston MORRIS which was taken at the Geo. K. Gilchrist Studio in Cedar Falls, IA. Dr. MORRIS appears to be in his 20’s or 30’s at the time it was taken, most likely in the 1880’s. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Dr. MORRIS and his family:

Dr. Livingston MORRIS was b. 14 Aug 1858 in Van Buren, IA to parents Samuel Mark MORRIS (1827-1894) and Charlotte Augusta ROBBINS or ROBYNS (1834-1915). Livingston was one of 6 children born to this couple including Edmon or Edward; John Quincy; Livingston; Henry F.; David Justin; and William Worthington MORRIS, all born between 1855 and 1863. Livingston married Zenella “Nell” Elizabeth NELSON (1864-1953) on 3 Feb 1897 in Fulton Co., IL. Livingston died 25 Oct 1930 in Stockport, IA and is buried in the Spencer Cemetery in that city.

I am hoping to get this photograph to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
