Edward Francis Barteau

A photo of Edward Francis Barteau. My husband, Phillip Jerome Barteau's grandfather, Edward Francis Barteau is reputed to be part Blackfoot Indian. He is the son of Mary Louise Janeau and Francois Edward Barteau. He married Anna Elizabeth Arkes in Florissant, Missouri on 4 Aug 1897 and they had ten children, nine living to adulthood. He and Anna celebrated their Golden Anniversary in 1947. He died in Florissant on 25 June 1950.
