50th Wedding anniversary , July 2, 1903 Springfield, Massachusetts for Edward and Lucie (Archambeau) Mercier who were married at Palmer, Massachusetts July 2, 1853. Both were French Canadian Immigrants. He was born 18 Aug 1830 and she 24 Jan 1834. He died 11 Mar 1908 and she followed 9 April 1911 both at Springfield. They produced a family of 16 children, whose descendants number in the thousands today.
