She married General Jackson Wilkett on February 20, 1918 in Le Flore County, and had children Linda Marie (Wilkett), Anna Mae (Wilkett), Velma Maxine (Wilkett), Elmer Jackson Wilkett, James Wilkett, and Bobby Gene Wilkett.
