Elna Louis Krueger

Elna was born in the town of Larrabee, to the parents of Bertha Mueller and Carl Boettcher. She married John Henry Krueger around 1911 and they had the following children together. Irma B. Krueger-Splittgerber, Walter William Krueger, John C Krueger and Chester Carl Krueger. According to her father Carl Boettcher's Last Will and Testament of April 17, 1924, all of the above children are in his will. Daughter Elna Krueger is listed as deceased. From the U.S., Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, Records, 1875-1940. The following is listed: Elna Krueger's correct birth and death dates. Burial was on October 15, 1918. Her husband John Krueger is also on this document. Cause of death is listed as just lingering. At this time I am only speculating that it may be very well possible that Elna succumbed to the influenza pandemic of 1918. Note: The above records are very poorly written and some in German, therefore it was very hard to transcribe. Her husband John Henry Krueger passed away on October 2, 1942. He is buried in the same cemetery in Greenleaf as his wife Elna, sons Walter, John and Chester Krueger
