Emery Holmes

My folks knew one another for ten years before they married. Dad would go to Sheridan & Mama would take him to collect gooseberries or mulberries, go on picnics, or to dances. She also went to Auburn with Aunt Lou. Their families knew them well. Sometimes Mama would go to the station and dad would blow the train whistle as he went by.
