Eric Kelvin Palmros Sr.
Eric Kelvin Palmros Sr was born on May 23, 1908 in New York to Alexander and Helen Palmros. He grew up in Syracuse, NY, alongside his older brothers George and Robert, and his younger brother Henry Palmros. Eric completed his high school education and went on to graduate from Texas Christian University. Eric initially worked as a salesman in Oneida, NY, but later became an accountant in Fort Worth, Tarrant, Texas, USA. He was a certified public accountant and had previously worked as an investment banker in New York City before moving to Fort Worth. During his time in Fort Worth, he worked for Montgomery Ward and the Leonard brothers, before eventually starting his own private accounting practice in 1950, which he ran until his retirement. Eric was a member of several professional organizations, including the Texas and American Accountants associations, as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He was also a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and a 32nd-degree Mason and a Shriner. He was married to Gladys Lucile Hedley (1909-1966) and the couple had sons Eric Kelvin Jr (1932-2005) and Alexander K Palmros (1937-1992).
