Ernest Lathrop Thearle

I have an old studio photograph of Ernest Lathrop THEARLE which was taken at the Mayo and Weed Studio in Chicago, IL in Nov 1895. Ernest is identified as being 8 months old at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Ernest and his family:

Ernest Lathrop THEARLE was b. 2 Mar 1895 in Chicago, IL to parents Earnest Andrew THEARLE (1862-1919) and Judith HELM (1866-1939) who were married 27 Jun 1888 in Chicago, IL. Ernest was one of four children born to this couple including Harry Scott; Philip or Phillip Hampton; Ernest Lathrop; and Frederick or Fredrick George THEARLE, all born between 1889 and 1904. Ernest was married twice, first to Eleanor Grace BONTECOU (1899-1994) on 24 Dec 9920 in Clifton Springs, NY and they had three daughters including, Janice Eleanore THEARLE (1920-1992) and Marilyn Bontecou THEARLE WHILDEN (1927-2010).

His second marriage was to Charlotte I. SMALLEY (b. 1897) and Ernest died 8 May 1968 in San Bernardino or Yucaipa, CA.
