He had siblings Raymond Vien, Arthur Viens, Albert W Viens, Oliver Vien, William Vien, Wilfred O Viens, Adelard Viens, Albertina Leona Viens, Regina Viens, Bertha Viens, and Richmond Viens. He married Lena M Viens, and had children Rita M Blanchette, Elane Bond, Yvonne Cecile Viens, Kathy Jandreau, Ernest W Viens Jr, Diane Brodowski, and Claire Prue. Ernest Viens died at age 86 years old on March 25, 2000 in Manchester, Hillsborough County.
