This is my grandmother Etta Mae Simpson Moegelin. She was born the 3 June 1903 in Democrat, Comanche Co, Texas. She died the 2 Sept 1989 in Austin, Travis Co, Texas and is buried there in the Austin Memorial Park cemetery. She was an avid fisher woman and loved the many camping trips she and her husband took. She was also very family oriented and made many trips to visit with her children. She had many a backyard picnics with all of her children present. She had nicknames for all of her grandchildren and loved being with them as much as they loved being with her. She was a down to earth lady, a great friend and a fun companion. She didn't have much but what she did have was love of life and family. She lived out her last days with one of her children in Austin.
