Eva and James Jr.

Eva Sundquist was born, raised and spent her entire life in Sweden. She is known for dating American guitarist, Jimi Hendrix. Hendrix and Eva first met on a tram when "The Experience", his band, was playing in Stockholm in 1968. A year later, when the band returned to Stockholm in January 1969, they again "connected" and Eva claimed that night lead to the birth of James Daniel on the 5th of October 1969, nine months later. James Daniel was born in Stockholm, Sweden and at the time of his birth, Eva refused to add the father's name to his birth certificate telling child care authorities that the father was a "famous American". A year later, when Jimi Hendrix passed, she started to claim him as the father of her child. While a Swedish court later proclaimed that James Daniel was the son of Jimi, there was never a paternity test. There have been multiple articles written about James Jr.'s relationship to Jimi Hendrix and the lawsuit for his estate including Rolling Stone May 1994, Voodoo Child, and Suit seeks part of Jimi Hendrix estate to name a few.
