Feeding the chickens

...everything that was served on my grandparent's table was either grown or raised by them... ...they were up at the crack of dawn, and in bed by the sun set... ...I remember the huge meals my grandmother prepared daily... breakfast, lunch, and dinner... you would have thought she was cooking for an army, but she always had plenty in case church folks dropped by... which that would happen often... they were very involved in their church, and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Winnsboro, Texas...
