Florence Mae (Brede) Thayer was born on December 24, 1896 in Rochester, Monroe County, New York United States. Florence was baptized on September 13, 1914 at First English Lutheran Church in Rochester. She was married to Alfred Regis Thayer, and had children Evelyn Mae (Thayer) Warren, Georgia Katherine (Thayer) Ellwood, Marian Edith (Thayer) Smith, Frederick Richard Thayer, Helen Elizabeth Thayer, Donald Maxwell Thayer, and Albert James Thayer. Florence Thayer died at age 82 years old on August 10, 1979 at Marian's House (daughter) in Garden City, Wayne County, MI, and was buried in August 1979 in Livonia.
