He arrived at Personal Depot & Receiving in UK 2 December 1943. He then went to No. 27 Operational Training unit on 18 July 1944 and then on to No. 51 Base where he was Flying Officer for No. 463 Squadron flying from Waddington, Lincolnshire, UK.
