Fred Anthony Bavone is the son of Ferdinand Bavone (born 1877) and Amelia Bavone (born 1878). Fred was born on November 16, 1915 in Big Run, Pennsylvania, USA and had a brother, Carl Barone (born 1908). He spent his teenage years in White, Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA. He was married to Jennie Arone (1913-1968) and they had a son together, Fred Anthony Bavone Jr (born 1939). In September of 1944, Fred joined the United States military.
