My uncle,Fred (left), & my father, Grant "Junior" Hill (right), were the children of Grant Sr & Sylvia Mae (Longmire) Hill. Fred, the eldest of 3, was born May 13, 1924, and Grant on May 11, 1928 in Soldiers Grove, Crawford Co, WI. Fred married Helen McClurg in Vernon county and had 2 daughter. Grant married Jewell Miller in North Chicago, IL on Nov. 1, 1952. They had 5 children. Fred's passing was on Sept. 28, 1983 and he is buried in the Viroqua, Vernon Co, WI Cemetery. Grant Jr passed away July 19, 2002 and is buried at North Clayton Cemetery, Soldiers Grove, Crawford Co, WI.
