These are news paper clippings that Fritz's Mother clipped from news papers. The news paper clippings tell the story about Fritz Wolf and his Squadron VBF-3. They were the first Naval Aviators to bomb targets on mainland Japan. Fritz lead two fighter sweeps on Feb 16th, 1945. His squadron shot down 24 Japanese aircraft and received the Presidential Unit Citation and Fritz received the Distinguish Flying Cross.
