Gabriel Carroll Franks

This picture of Gabriel Franks belonged to my grandmother, Virginia Fondren Ford.

On the back of the frame is a handwritten note:
My mother Louise (Franks) Fondren had paid for this picture long ago. We would like for it to always be in the hands of family that would enjoy keeping a rememberance of Grandpah and the old barn that meant so much to our parents. So Virginia to you and yours ---

Also, on the back is also a tag from the Chicago Portrait company stating that this is a heirloom portrait of Gabe Franks taken in the year 1934.
