George Austin Kiehle- Duke University

George Austin Kiehle was born on September 23, 1938, in the small town of Cameron, Texas. He was the second child of Edward G Kiehe (1908-1995) and Estelle Austin Kiehle (1907-1982). He had a brother Richard E Kiehle (1934-2011). As he grew older, George's passion for knowledge led him to study at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina (1960). While at Duke, he was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, Bench and Bar (3,4), Campus Chest (3), and the Swimming Team (1). On March 24,1968 George married Genevieve Anderson (1940-2017) in Dallas, Texas, USA. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and three beautiful children. Sadly, George passed away on October 5, 2005, in Mountain View, California, at the age of 67.
