Georgianna Cliffe

A photo of Sylvester's grandaughter Georgianna Cliffe. Georgianna, daughter of Alice V. Van Tassel & George Cliffe, was born in Ontario in 1892. She married a St Lawrence riverboat guide, William Van Dressar, and had 3 children: Clifford, Ruth (Mrs. Harold White), & Gladys. 'I was 3 yrs old when my mother died in the influenza epidemic of 1918 & 8 yrs old when my father died. Grandma Cliffe brought us up.' - Gladys Beaumont
