Gilbert was my paternal grandfather and my father was his fourth child.Gilbert was married in Portsmouth in 1903 to Beatrice Mary Radmore but for whatever reason they separated in 1911 and he ended up in New Zealand where he remarried in June 1915 and died in the August of that year; he had joined the A.N Z.A.C's and was on the first ship to go from New Zealand. I have never seen a photograph of him but would dearly love to do so. I have got all his service records and a copy of his marriage certificate and his wife's name was Florence Fanny Burn.
