Perhaps not the best photo of the lady we called "Mama Grace," Grace Branch, but one of our most memorable. Taken on one of our many camping trips, this one at Rainbow River, FL. She taught several generations of our family how to camp and cook out the old fashioned way, from "way back when," and shared her memories with us. Always wore the long dresses, even camping. I believe she was a Florida pioneer; married to a Florida state senator; widowed when we began our camping trips; member of the Tampa Bay Mineral and Science Club, Inc., loved all things of nature, kind hearted, deep, loud laugh; dear friend. Thank you, Mama Grace.
